Best Travel Games to Play With Kids While Travelling

Traveling with kids may seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be!

There are so many different types of travelling and each of the tips listed here will work for travelling with children whether you are taking an international or national flight, going on a train such as the Amtrak in the USA or Trenitalia in Italy, or on a road trip to visit some relatives or friends.

When I travel with my children I make sure to bring a lot of activities and games to keep them busy.

Bringing a variety of games is important so the kids wont get bored of the same thing over and over and don't forget that you can always restock at your destination! It is important to keep in mind that when travelling with children there are unexpected occurrences that may come up and it is best to always be well prepared.

In my experience, I have found that bringing along just a box of crayons, colored pencils, or markers and a coloring book will keep a child happy for a while. Color Wonder art sets are great for travelling because they are special markers, paints, or stamps that only work on their customized papers and therefore do not stain the children's clothing.

Another activity I like to bring along with me when travelling is reusable sticker sets. I like that the stickers are able to be used again and again. Children are able to use their imagination to create and recreate various scenes using the reusable stickers. Children can either play by themselves or work together to build a scene using the stickers provided and various background sheets.

A third activity that I like to bring along with us when we travel is mini playdough sets. Children can mold and create various characters and shapes using the tools included in the kit. There are endless possibilities that can be done with these mini playdough kits and have kept my children busy for hours!

Travelling with children can be stressful but by bringing activities to keep them busy they will be entertained thus giving you a chance to relax and enjoy the trip as well. What are your favorite activities to bring along when travelling with children?
